I clicked through to Schwartz’s article, it was a solid read. Thanks for sharing it. Have you read, “Emotional Intelligence” by Daniel Goleman? He says that we have two minds, one that thinks and one that feels. Perhaps because women tend to be more in touch with their feelings…it could support the assertion, Schwartz makes in his article? Thoughts?
Cynthia while I think women tend to have more empathy than men (no science based fact finding behind that by the way), I think both men and women, who have some self awareness about their behavior and their personalities are in touch with how they need to adjust their behavior when interacting with others.
